The True Balance Station provides menu options that exclude the following priority allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, soy, mustard, sesame, wheat, and gluten. True Balance menu options are made in a separate preparation space and are served by specially trained food service staff. There is enhanced protocol for ingredient verification, receiving, and storage of all items used at the True Balance Station. There are separate dedicated ovens, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and wash sinks used for this station to reduce cross contamination risk to a minimum.

There is a True Balance station at Howe Hall.

Although recipes made at this station are prepared carefully to exclude the above priority allergens, Howe Dining hall is not an allergen-free dining hall. Risk of allergen exposure remains in all food services areas.

Menu offerings at the True Balance station include an animal or fish-based protein, a plant-based protein, a grain or starch, vegetable offering, and a daily soup. You do not need special permission to access this station. This station is not-self serve. It is always monitored and served by our True Balance trained staff.

The True Balance Station is open at lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and at dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
